Is this discrimination or slander or something?

I used to work at a place and i left the place suddenly. I had a friend that did the same thing before i left. My friend decided to try and get her job back and the center director said she was re-hirable, so i contacted the center director and he said i was re-hirable. Me and my friend had the same supervisor, the sup and me didn't see eye to eye, therefore she didn't really like me, and she liked my friend. My friend went in for an interview and she was re-hired, given a start date etc but didn't take the job. I went in for an interview and my ex sup came up and talked to the recruiter etc, and kept looking at me, i was told i was not re-hirable and i pointed out the center director said i was, the recruiter located the email stating this. My record with this company is a good one, having never gotten in trouble, barely called in etc...They were rude to me in the interview and then was told they will let me know in a few days, which with this company means we are not going to hire you. Because of my ex-supervisor not liking me i am not going to be rehired, but since my friend is like by her they re-hired her. Is this discrimination, could i get my ex-supervisor for slander or something?
