Once on a blue moon though you get a person who actually knows something and doesn't judge everybody just by what they tell you. The people who answer that way don't know the pregnant mothers, they don't know how she has reacted, they don't even know if this person is real or not! Worst meal that I ever had?

My worst meal ever was at a diner in upstate N.Y. It was early Saturday morning and we decided to stop and eat before we went fishing. I ordered a cup of coffee and scrambled eggs and sausage with a gl of milk. The coffee came first and as I sipped it I tasted something that was like perfume. My lips were also feeling like I had just put on some lip balm. I looked down at the coffee cup and there was a huge purple imprint of a lip that was left there probably by a huge woman wearing purple lipstick. This was only the beginning. Next my food came and I started to eat the scrambled eggs. Halfway through I felt a hair in my mouth and proceed to fish out a about a 14 inch piece of black hair that as I pulled it out could feel it coming up my throat. I started to gag and spit the whole mess out into a napkin. The end of the hair had become snarled in my braces, so I had to break it off. I reached for my small gl of milk which was served in one of the yucky chipped yellow plastic gles that they use at diners. I chugged the milk down and as the gl went bottoms up I noticed a thick sour milk ring on the bottom of the gl. Feeling a little queasy I reached for a piece of toast to quell my stomach. The toast was soggy and drenched in what looked like real yellow melted er. For some reason I decide to sniff of the toast before I took a bite and discovered that the er was rancid. The only thing left on my plate were the sausage patties. I approached cautiously and as I started to eat them was surprised that they were quite good. As I hungrily chomped away at the sausage I bit into something that felt like a small rock. I felt a couple of foreign things in my mouth. One was a bone chunk that was in the sausage and the other was a chunk of my chipped off tooth. The restaurant refused to take the meal off my bill and then we went fishing.

I check a credit report and found a judgment on there for a few hundred dollars I never knew about, even filed in a city/state I didn't live in. I knew the guy, he tried to get me to pay for damages on a walkway washing out. My company built the walkway, but he built the drainage with another company which didn't install it correctly. He didn't even live in the city and state it was file. Just happend to check credit report for fraud because of an alert from my bank.

My little yorkie, "Sidda" won't potty train!?

Sidda is just over 3 yrs old and we for the life of us, cannot get her to consistantly "go" outside. I work from home so I let her out every 1 1/2 hrs...sometime she goes, sometimes she doesn't. It could be beautiful, rainy, or snowy and it depends on if "she" feels like going. She'll stay out for 20-30 min. running around chasing birds and then come right in and go on the carpet! I am starting to resent her a bit. My carpet smells and I have tried the potty pads...no good. I have tried treats...no good. I tried a cage..no good, altough someone told me the cage might be a little big for her (She went in there too!) I've checked with the vet and their are not problems there, I have no clue what to do and I am considering selling her but we have grown to love her but now, like I said, we are resenting her and not paying as much attention to her because we're mad at her. Hi everyone. My mother has been playing Farmville for quite some time. At first she only played for an hour or so at a time, but now 2 years later, she's playing it all day. I am homeschooled, and I have not done any school for two weeks because my mom is playing Farmville. I mean, I get food and there's always a jug of good milk in the fridge but my testing is in two weeks. Am I too emotionally dependent and needy in my relationship?

My bf and I have been together for almost 3 years. The first year i kind of disregarded the relationship and then on top of that got deployed to Iraq for 6 months (he stayed with me when I insisted that he shouldnt). When I got back, things were good through the honeymoon phase and I was really growing to love him. He introduced me to his family. However, got upset with me because he said I disrespected his family. I was kind of culture shocked because he is hispanic and I dont know spanish and when he said "family" I though it was his immediate family not all the generations. So needless to say that left a bad taste in his mouth along with him saying I was always so negative and doubtful of his love. He began to disregard the relationship. I was the one that had to fight to keep it alive when he didnt give a #$%^. This year has been a coming together for us. I have been able to become a more positive thinking less doubtful person as he has become less selfish and stubborn and has been doing his part to make things work. We have even been talking about marriage. Now he works a job with and awful schedule (every weekend) plus is trying to get into grad school. Ever since Ive meet him he has been working and going to school. We spend approximately 1-2 days out of the week together now. He spends almost all the free time he can spare with me. However, I get angry about his schedule and how we dont see each other often. When he could spend time with me but doesnt either bc he is at his house, studying at school, or at yoga I get upset because those could be times we could be together. Am I wrong for feeling this way? Actually, I know Im wrong. I dont want to feel so needy and dependent. How can I better cope and stop feeling this way? I am a grad student myself, hve friends and have even gotten involved in an intramural bball team to have activities to do but still get angry and sad when we arent together. Help!!!

Why is my left knee in pain?

Yesterday, I went to the gym and was playing basketball. I think I landed kind of ackward, and I felt a twinge in a muscle behind my knee. The next day, I had pain throughout the back and a little in the front of my knee. I can walk and I feel pain when I put a lot of weight on it, and when I bend my knee I feel pain. The noodles need to be fresh out of the water to wilt the spinach. Next cut up the chk and halve the cherry toms and toss them with the pasta. I'd leave out the cheddar. Yesterday out of no where My heart went crazy. It suddenly started beating very fast 248 and I had dizziness and shortness of breath. I was rushed to the ER and given Meds to bring down my heart rate. My labs all came back normal no cardiac enzymes and my ekg looked good. What could have triggered this? I'm 43 and I am overweight. The only lab that came back out of whack and it was WAY out of whack was my Thyroid .. my TSH was 276.. Normal would be .4-4 so even though I do take 200mcg of synthroid I was severely Hypothyroid . Hello, hypothetically speaking say a university voilates your rights and in a separate incident penalizes you for cheating but they can't prove you were cheating. Is there any neutral party who can step in and help me? My friend said there is some office or agency with some crazy sounding name I could not spell or pronouce, but I haven't been able to get in touch with him to see what he was talking about. I got accused of cheating and it is not clear that I was cheating, I had no knowledge of what would be on the exam. I need that penalty lifted and it bothered me the whole year. Go out and do some thing. you say she goes to work AND hangs out with friends, ok, that's cool, how about one day she goes to work, and YOU go out with your friends when she comes back? make her remember what it's like to stay with the kids, you may also need to be a little macho, say you go out to the grocery store with the kids, make her remember that you are desirable to other women, mention as on off handed comment how the cashier was checking you out, then balance it out with how she complementad the kids after, as if it was inncoent all along. even if it's a lie, and if things go wrong say she get's a little too jealosue , say you made it up! you just wanted to get her attention, and then tell her everything you've said in your post, sometimes it's easier to open up when you're "making up" after a fight. hope this helped :)

How often should a child's hair be cut?

I have a four year old with hair down to her almost, but it tangles like nobody's business. She's multiracial so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I have a 4 year old nephew that is cute as a bug but doesn't act like a 4 year old. He is very stand offish and doesn't speak loudly or some times at all. His mother doesn't take the time to mother him like she should and she expect everyone else to raise him. This is my husband's brother's son and he isn't in the picture at all. My husband and I have three boys and just had a baby girl 5 months ago. We have other nephew's that are three years old and they speak clearer and understand things way better than this child. I have taken him to be check for hearing and other test and they came back normal. The school said that they want to test his comprehension and that was this summer. The problem is that the mother won't take him to the appointments plus she is out doing things rather than taking care of her son. It gets to be very challenging when every weekend my husband picks up this child and he will speak a little bit to him and not at all to me and my boys. The boys are 14,11, & 7.

It is not too early at all if they are big, and eating and drinking on their own. My rabbit had a litter a few months ago and the babies were so big, they became like little parasites, eating her food, jumping all over her. I separated them at 4 weeks. Why is it English majors or people with perfect english grammar are full of themselves, and think that i shouldn't teach english to foreigners? I know i have bad grammar, and i have an accent(i'm hispanic american) but i have good teaching techniques, i make it fun, and in fact i've taught several japanese and chinese people and they are really happy that i help them. i also speak japanese so i can explain concepts to some of them. My friend went in for an interview and she was re-hired, given a start date etc but didn't take the job. I went in for an interview and my ex sup came up and talked to the recruiter etc, and kept looking at me, i was told i was not re-hirable and i pointed out the center director said i was, the recruiter located the email stating this. My record with this company is a good one, having never gotten in trouble, barely called in etc...They were rude to me in the interview and then was told they will let me know in a few days, which with this company means we are not going to hire you. Because of my ex-supervisor not liking me i am not going to be rehired, but since my friend is like by her they re-hired her. Is this discrimination, could i get my ex-supervisor for slander or something?

Well I found a ding and then it ran away so an hour later it came back! I let it in my house, my mom won't let me have dogs inside so it's staying in a room. Water softener help please?

Have had problems with our Water Boss since we had a 5 day power outage. We cleaned part of the head and it does seem better. Had the water tested after cleaning the resin tank, and it tested 6 gr. hardness, no iron. Straight from the well, it tests 12 grains of hardness, plus iron. What is the usual testing reading when going through a softener? Should it be zero? Or do you think the whole head needs to be serviced. We had a sticking piston in the brine housing. Anyone familiar with a Water Boss, would appreciate an answer to my question.

I get very agitated during home renovations?

I feel for you...im going through the same thing but ive been at it for one year this month...lol...it started with replacing windows and having to re frame the wall then escalated to a whole new room with everything in it...i basically gave up and left it,we lived with 2 chairs and nothing else for a year...so now i am having to face reality and finish the room.I think the reason some of us get so upset comes from not knowing exactly what we want and then doubting our own tastes and ability,so now im doing lots of reading and looking at pictures to find what im drawn to...it sounds as if your in the same position as me...self doubt. about three months ago i got my belly on pierced. it seemed to be healing fine until i got in the stomach with a soccer ball. it swelled up and bled but was back to normal in a couple weeks. about three weeks ago a friend swung me over his shoulder and it irritated it and it swelled up again but only on the right side. i figured it would go away but it hasnt. it doest hurt and doest seem to be infected but i dont know if it will go back to normal, anyone have any information on that?

Just buy some ABS pipe, most likely 3" or 4" pipe and the no-hub fittings (clamps that have rubber on it) to connect the ABS to the cast iron, and the glue to connect the pipes with....Just make sure there's a slight slope to it.....It is possible for you to do it to save a lot of money!!!

I was first introduced to synthetic oil as a military flight line mechanic. There was a component on the aircraft I worked on that used it. This thing spun at unbelievable RPMs and under alot of heat. Whenever this component needed servicing, the oil in it was never replaced! Only cleaned/filtered. From this I made the mental leap to use synthetic oil in my car. In a 4 year period I put 200K miles on my Nissan pickup using Mobile 1. Never changed it, just strained and reused it! When I had to replace a head gasket after it sprang a water leak (normal high mileage wear) there was no ridge at the top of the cylinder walls! Still worried about wasting money?

If you are near Richmond or El Cerrito for example Golden Gate Transit route #40/42 has express bus service to San Rafel where you could then take a GGT bus #80 to the Bridge thereby avoiding the congestion of going thru the city of SF.
