Which monitor lizard should i get first?

I have experience with many lizards like the ones i have now ( water dragons iguanas etc) I was wandering which monitor i should get first, a savannah monitor or a black and white throat monitor. Money and space are not a problem i can support either i just want to know which one is more recommended for a first monitor i have known people with both and they said i could go either way what do you think about it thanks for your help
