Is it possible to breakthrough bleed for 6 days but still be pregnant?

I'm on birth control. Bled for 6 days (not lightly, but not fully), 1.5 weeks before the normal period cycle. Should be getting my normal cycle this weekend. Is this a sign of pregnancy (or is that even possible) or will I get my period and be fine?
