Belly on piercing?

about three months ago i got my belly on pierced. it seemed to be healing fine until i got in the stomach with a soccer ball. it swelled up and bled but was back to normal in a couple weeks. about three weeks ago a friend swung me over his shoulder and it irritated it and it swelled up again but only on the right side. i figured it would go away but it hasnt. it doest hurt and doest seem to be infected but i dont know if it will go back to normal, anyone have any information on that?
