Why dont people just know how to do stuff? Like how baby ducks automatically know how to swim and walk?

why dont people just kow how to do stuff like walk, talk, swim, rollerblade, skateboard, ride bikes, etc. like how a baby duck as soon as it hatches, knows how to swim, walk, hold its breath, communicate, sence danger and so on. it is just curious to me, people do these things all the time. Is it because we no longer depend on instinct to survive? or because humans are incapable of that kind of instinct? or are humans not adaptive enough to automatically know things like that?
