How do I help my daughter choosing careers to study that would help them cope with such a competitive world?

Besides the traditional careers I realize there are more now with the advance of technology that there are new and exhilarating careers that are starting to enjoy a higher demand; however, I don’t know exactly how to pinpoint them or where to study for such tasks.
